The service
Framewell (mypicframe.com) is a private picture library plus in-world frame tools for Second Life®. Accounts are created only with a one-time key from our Second Life vendor, HUD, or Marketplace delivery. There is no open public signup.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to use Second Life under Linden Lab’s terms and at least 16. You are responsible for your key, password, and what you upload.
Not image storage
Framewell is a picture-frame service for Second Life, not a backup drive or photo archive. Do not treat this website as the only copy of your pictures. When you upload, we make an optimized copy sized for viewing on an in-world frame. That copy is what the frame shows. We do not keep or return your original file. Each frame you purchase can load 50 pictures in its published folder. Another purchased frame is another 50. Regular library folders on this site are for organizing only and are not sent in-world. You must accept this statement when you create an account. We keep the time you accepted it.
Your pictures
You keep the rights you already have in your pictures. You grant Framewell a limited license to store, resize (longest side 2048), display, and deliver them to you, people you share with, and your Second Life frame. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use. No illegal content, malware, or anyone else’s personal data you are not allowed to post.
Frames and keys
A key is one-time. A frame license is typically fifty published pictures. You may copy a bound frame in-world; you may not share the key or try to run more than the licensed slots from one key. We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that abuse keys, payments, or other members.
Payments
In-world prices are in Linden dollars and are handled inside Second Life. We do not process credit cards on this website. Marketplace purchases follow Linden Lab’s marketplace rules. Fees are generally not refundable once a key or access has been delivered, except where law requires otherwise.
Availability
We aim to keep the library and frame API up, but the service is provided as-is. We may change features, limits, or these terms. If a change is material we will post the new date on this page.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Framewell is not liable for lost pictures, lost Linden dollars, Second Life outages, or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States may hear disputes, except where consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
